Paulelette Ricks-Chambers Named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Sophomore midfielder Paulelette Ricks-Chambers has been named the inaugural University of Miami Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period September 4 to September 10.

Ricks-Chambers, who has three goals in UM’s last four games, scored the winning goal in the Hurricanes 2-0 victory over FIU Wednesday, September 6. That victory improved UM’s record to 5-0 on the season which tied the best start in the program’s history.

The native of Sacramento, Calif. started all 20 games as a freshman last season scoring three goals and recording one assist.

Also nominated for the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week was Hurricanes quarterback Kyle Wright who completed 13 of 18 passes for 166 yards in Miami’s 56-10 win over Florida A&M on September 9.
