THIRD SHUTOUT OF THE SEASON
The 59 points is the most-ever scored by Miami against Syracuse. The shutout is the third of the season for the Hurricanes and the 40th in the modern era, dating back to 1960. This was fourth time Miami has blanked the Orangemen in this series and the largest margin of victory by either team.

WINNING STREAKS CONTINUE

OUTSCORING OPPONENTS

DOMINATING DEFENSE
In Miami’s last four games, the defense has allowed just 10 points. The Hurricanes have held seven of their nine opponents this season to a touchdown or less, with three shutouts…With Buchanon’s interception, the defense has had an interception in 25 straight games since the 1999 Virginia Tech game.
