The Game
Miami (1-0) faces former BIG EAST Conference foe Rutgers (1-0) Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.
The Series
Miami leads the all-time series 8-5, winning six of the last nine outings. The Hurricanes, though, are looking to avenge two-straight losses to the Scarlet Knights, falling 61-45 last season and 72-70 in overtime in 2004.

He has posted a 471-344 overall record and is currently No. 17 on the list of winningest active Division I head coaches with a 444-308 record in DI games. Coach L was the head coach of DII American International for two years.
