Vikki Alonzo Named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Coral Gables, FLA (www.hurricanesports.com) — – True freshman Vikki Alonzo was flawless in two games this past week, picking up two more shutouts, giving her four on the season.

The 3-0 shutout over Arkansas-Little Rock was a credit to the Miami defense as she didn’t have to make a single save. However, against the defending Conference USA champions, Alonzo made save after save, in the 3-0 victory, as her team was outshot 16-7 by Memphis.

The Carrollton, Texas native has led Miami to a 5-0 record to begin the season.
