Coral Gables, Fla (www.hurricanesports.com) — – University of Miami senior center Brett Romberg has been cleared to play in Saturday’s football game against Syracuse after the conclusion of an investigation into allegations involving a conversation during a recent radio interview, the University of Miami Athletics Department announced this morning.

A Statement From the University of Miami Athletics Compliance Office:

“The University of Miami and the NCAA have concluded an investigation regarding Brett Romberg’s interview on WZTA Radio that occurred in early September. Brett Romberg will not be penalized and the case is closed.”
