Having won two of their last four games, head coach Frank Haith and the Hurricanes head to Littlejohn Coliseum Wednesday for a match-up with ACC counterpart Clemson.

Miami continues to be one of the ACC’s top three-point shooting teams, hitting an average of 6.6 treys per game – good for third among league leaders.

Much of UM success from beyond the arc has been attributed to sophomore guard Jack McClinton who tops the league in three-point percentage (.443) and three pointers made per game (2.85). McClinton, UM’s scoring leader (16.1 ppg), also leads the ACC in free throw percentage (.908).

Down low, the Hurricanes have benefited from freshman center Dwayne Collins, who ranks first in the conference in offensive rebounding (3.3 orpg). Collins also ranks first among all ACC freshman and sixth overall with six games with at least 10 rebounds.

Offensively Clemson is led by sophomore guard K.C. Rivers’ 13.0 points per game followed by junior forward James Mays’ 12.7 scoring average. Mays leads the Tigers in rebounding with 6.5 boards per game.

Miami, who has won each of the last five meetings against CU, and Clemson have split each of the previous 10 contest in the all-time series.
