Tim Brogdon joined the University of Miami athletics department in May 2015 where he serves as the assistant director of digital strategy.
Brogdon came to Miami after working for the department of athletics at Colorado State University as the marketing coordinator. In this position, he created and led the CSU student spirit group, Ram Ruckus. He also managed, updated and maintained the CSU athletics, CSU men’s basketball, and Ram Ruckus Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Brogdon’s accomplishments at CSU also include managing a large-scale pep rally for 4,500 first year students. In addition, he helped grow Colorado State men’s basketball Facebook page by 71 percent, athletics Facebook by 111 percent, and athletics Twitter by 84 percent. Brogdon is credited with running several successful season ticket, subscription and event advertising campaigns on both Facebook and Twitter, most with average engagement rate of 7.0 percent, two points above the average for ad campaigns.
Brogdon graduated from Colorado State in May 2012.
