Played in 21 games on the season… Averaged 2.0 points and 1.0 rebounds per game… Scored six points versus Maine (12/29)… Picked up three steals versus Central Florida (12/2)… Had career-highs in points (7) and steals (3) at Wisconsin-Milwaukee (11/28)… Scored three points and had four assists versus Fordham (11/23)… Scored first collegiate point against Michigan (11/19).

PRIOR TO MIAMI
Ranked among Florida’s top-15 players by FloridaHoops.com… Averaged 13.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.6 steals per game as a senior to lead William R. Boone High School to its second-straight Class 6A state tournament semifinals… Earned First Team All-State honors by the Florida Sports Writers Association and was the 2007 Metro Conference Player of the Year… Holds school record for single-season steals… Also a two-time all-state honorable mention selection and a 2006 All-Central Florida and All-Orange County First Team pick as a junior after averaging 12.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game en route to Boone’s third-straight district title… Back-to-back region champs… Also excelled among the nation’s top competition as a member of the Orlando Comet Red, winning the 2006 AAU National Championship… Earned four letters in basketball, three in track & field and one in cross country… Ran on the 4×100-meter relay that placed fourth at states.

PERSONAL
A physical therapy major… Has two brothers, including Garfield (21), who plays basketball for Stetson University… Father, Garfield, coached her AAU team that won the 2006 national championship… Also recruited by schools such as Clemson, Oklahoma and UCLA… Off the court, enjoys sleeping and watching Disney movies… At Boone, was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society… Is the UM team academic captain for the 2008-09 season.
