Luke Testani - Men's Basketball - University of Miami Athletics

Luke Testani was named the Video Coordinator for the Hurricanes in May 2025.

Testani, who served as a graduate assistant at Miami from 2020-22, will be responsible for the program’s video-related responsibilities, including organizing opponent film into scout edits, creating scouting reports and managing film exchange.

Testani rejoins the Hurricanes after spending two years at Iona where he worked as the program’s Video Coordinator from 2023-24 before being promoted to Director of Analytics/Player Personnel for the 2024-25 season.

In his elevated role, Testani oversaw the program’s analytics, providing detailed statistical analysis to assist the coaching staff in making informed decisions. Additionally, he managed player personnel matters, including player development and recruiting support.

Testani came to New Rochelle after serving as an assistant coach at Division III Amherst College in Massachusetts.

During Testani’s first stint with the Hurricanes, Testani saw one of the largest improvements in the country as the Hurricanes went from recording a 10-win season in 2020-21 to recording a 26-11 mark and an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2021-22.

Testani was a four-year manager for the University of Michigan under coaches John Beilein and Juwan Howard. During his time in Ann Arbor, Michigan appeared in three NCAA tournaments reaching the Sweet 16 twice and the NCAA Championship game in 2018. Among other duties, he was responsible for assisting at practices and home games, including equipment set up and take down, coding game film and rebounding for players after practice.

Testani graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Michigan in 2019 and a master’s degree in Sport Administration from Miami in 2022.
