2016 (Senior): Did not see any game action, member of practice squad.

2015 (Junior): Served as team’s fullback and among team’s top contributors on special teams…Played in all 12 games…Totaled two tackles, both on special teams.

2014 (Sophomore, Auburn): Missed season after tearing ACL during scrimmage.

2013 (Redshirt Freshman, Auburn): Converted linebacker played H-back … Played in six games for the SEC Champions … SEC Academic Honor Roll

2012 (True Freshman, Auburn): Did not see action while redshirting at linebacker.

Before Miami: Graduated from Auburn in December 2014 with degree in exercise science…Currently enrolled in clinical & applied exercise physiology graduate program…Assistant coach at Dwyer HS from January-May 2015, coached special teams, defensive ends, tight ends and h-backs.

High School: High school coach was Jack Daniels … Palm Beach County defensive player of the year … First team all-state and all-area …  Basketball letterman … National Honor Society … Maverick and Palm Beach County scholar-athlete of the year

Personal: Son of Greg and Ann Marie Batten … Brother Trace plays at NC State…Grandfather played quarterback at Florida.
