CAREER: Missed the final three games of 2002 because of a knee injury…had returned for 2002 after being granted a medical redshirt for the 2001 season.
2002 (SENIOR): Was among the team’s top 10 tacklers before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Pittsburgh…finished the season with 35 tackles (17 unassisted), six sacks (40 yards), 6.5 tackles for losses (36 yards), 11 quarterback hurries and two passes broken up…made two tackles (one solo) against Pittsburgh…had four solo tackles, including two sacks for nine yards, in the win at Tennessee…credited with one assist against Rutgers…had three tackles, including a sack for a loss of 12 yards, and broke up a pass against West Virginia…recorded one solo tackle against Florida State…made three tackles (one solo), including one sack for a loss of seven yards against Boston College…had two assists and broke up one pass, against the Owls…started against Florida and recorded one solo tackle…played extensively as a reserve in the season opener against Florida A&M and recorded four tackles (three solos), including two for losses totaling 14 yards, and a sack for a 10-yard loss…the FAMU game was Green’s first game action since the Rutgers game on Sept. 9, 2001.
