AT MIAMI: Talented non-scholarship player who could compete for playing time this season… missed spring practice with an injury… joined the program as a preferred walk-on in 2001.

HIGH SCHOOL: Miami Springs… a two-year letterman in football who also earned a letter in baseball… starred at linebacker his final two seasons… made 86 tackles (64 solos) with three quarterback sacks, intercepted two passes, caused seven fumbles and recovered two fumbles… was voted team captain both his junior and senior seasons… was named his team’s MVP in several games over the course of his career… helped MSHS to a 14-6 record over his junior and senior seasons… had 14 tackles (10 solos) against Miami Central in 2000… made 13 stops (12 solos) against Miami Northwestern in 2000… coached by Buddy Goins.
