Fourth Year Junior 1985-86: started 15 of 27 games at center, missing one game (Towson State) with back injury  . . . scored a season high 13 points on three occasions vs. The Citadel, Georgia and Hartford . . . team leader in blocked shots with 46- collecting four in Hofstra and Daytona games . . . led team in rebounding in five games with top individual efforts coming against Georgia State (12), Hofstra (11) and American (10) . . . also grabbed nine rebounds in three other games . . . best overall game was in Miami’s 70-63 win over Hofstra when he had 11 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and only two fouls in 26 minutes . . . is an excellent passer and has solid court presence . . . collected five assists in Miami’s win over Florida State and four others in ‘Canes’ win over Brooklyn College.

 Red Shirt Junior 1984-85: Sat out mandatory year (per NCAA transfer rules) while practicing with three other scholarship players and 11 walk-ons.

High School: Led Plainfield High to a 21-5 record and a Top 10 state ranking as a senior . . . also contributed 15 points and 15 rebounds per game in final year . . . named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students as well as the National Honor Society . . . National English Merit Award Winner . . . two year member of tennis team . . . coached by Rico Parenti
