2008 (SOPHOMORE): Started 11 of 13 games at defensive end – nine at left end and two games at right end … Recorded 21 tackles (10 solo, 11 assisted) … Had a career-high four tackles against North Carolina … Also had three tackles for loss on the season … Tallied seven tackles (one solo, seven assisted) in win over Virginia Tech … Posted six tackles (four solo, two assisted) against North Carolina.
2007 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in nine games and recorded six tackles – one tackle for loss while playing at defensive end … Played on special teams against Marshall, Oklahoma, FIU, Georgia Tech, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Boston College … Against Marshall, saw action as a reserve defensive end in the fourth quarter (five plays, one tackle for loss, one assist and one QB pressure) … Against Texas A&M, saw action on the final drive of the game (five plays, one assisted tackle) … Against NC State, played on special teams and in the rotation at left defensive end, making one assisted tackle … At Virginia Tech, saw reserve action at defensive end, making three assisted tackles.
