Sophie Walls

High School: Graduated from Woodlands High School in 2018… Was named to the Academic All-District team in the 2016-17 season and the 2017-18 season… Was a three-year varsity starter at Woodlands and played for both Texas Tornados and the Houston Skyline Juniors for club… Amassed 3596 assists, 985 digs, 126 aces, 146 blocks, 289 kills over her three-year varsity career while averaging 10.6 assists/set over her junior and senior seasons… Set the high school record in career assists… Was voted the Top 12 Female Athletes of the Year and Volleyball Co-Player of the year in 2017 by Vype Houston… Was a Prepvolleyball All-American, senior finalist for National Player of the Year and Senior Aces-Top 250 and Prepvolleyball’s TX All-State team along with being named a 2017 PrepVolleyball Under Armour All-American, Andir Collins Award Finalist and was named to the 2017 UIL Texas State Championships 6A All-Tournament team including the TX 6A State semifinalist.
