Was granted an opportunity to tryout with the 1964 US Olympic team as a junior with his sensational scoring and rebounding skills…Gained All-America mention on many ’64 teams…named to the Converse All-America team…While many of his points came from close in and on uncanny follow ups after misses by his teammates, Rick can drop shots from well out if the traffic becomes too heavy under the basket.
