CAREER: Played in 50 games in his career (2007-10), tied for the third-most in school history and only two less than all-time leader Brandon Meriweather (2002-06) … Holds school record for most consecutive field goals made (14 – 2009-10) … Closed out his career ranked second in school history in consecutive point after touchdowns made (105), tied for fifth in field goals made (45), seventh in point after touchdowns made (127) and seventh in total points scored (260) and points scored kicking (260) … Successfully made 84.9 percent of his career field goal attempts (45-of-53) … In his career, was 2-for-2 from 10-19 yards, 17-for-18 from 20-29 yards, 17-for-20 from 30-39 yards, 5-for-8 from 40-49 yards and 4-for-5 from 50+ yards … Averaged 41.7 yards per punt in his career, landing 70 of his 234 punts inside the 20-yard line … Averaged over 40 yards per punt all four years as the Hurricanes’ punter … Made a career-long 52-yard field goal vs. Wake Forest in 2008 … Made a career-high three field goals on four occasions, most recently against Clemson in 2009 … Successfully made 97.7 percent of his career extra point attempts (127-for-130).
2010 (SENIOR): Handled all of Miami’s field goal, punting and kickoff duties … Named an All-ACC second team punter … Averaged 44 yards per punt, including a long of 62 at Virginia … Made 13-of-17 field goal attempts and 37-of-40 extra points tried … Successfully converted nine of his last 10 field goal tries … Ranked second on the team in scoring with 76 points, trailing only Leonard Hankerson (78 points) ….Averaged a career-best 57.8 yards per punt at Virginia, booting punts of 56, 62, 52 and 61 yards against the Cavaliers … Kicked a season-long 51-yard field goal at No. 2 Ohio State on Sept. 11 … Had a streak of 105 consecutive extra points made (second-longest streak in school history) snapped at Clemson on Oct. 2 … Also recorded season-highs for punts (10) and punting yards (463) at Clemson, with half of his punts going over 50 yards … Landed 19 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, including five against USF of Nov. 27 … Averaged 63.5 yards on kickoffs, with 15 touchbacks … Was named the Special Teams Player of the Year at the team’s annual awards banquet on Dec. 12.
2009 (JUNIOR): Named All-ACC first team kicker and second team punter … Also chosen to the Rivals.com All-ACC first team as a kicker and to the Phil Steele All-ACC first team as a kicker and `second team as a punter … Connected on 14-of-16 field goals and ended the season making 12 in a row which is the second-best streak in school history in a career and in a single-season … Ranked third in the ACC in field goal percentage (87.5) and was a perfect 50-of-50 in PAT’s, which were the most in the ACC and ranked as the second-best mark in a single season … Made 90 consecutive extra-point attempts, which is the third-best streak in a career at Miami … In ACC action, tied for the league-lead going 32-of-32 in PAT’s … Made 10-of-11 field goals of 30-plus yards … Earned All-ACC Specialist of the Week honors twice and was a Lou Groza Award Star of the Week … As a punter, led the ACC in conference games averaging 42.9 yards per punt on 30 punts in eight games … Overall, averaged 42.5 yards per punt in 13 games for the Hurricanes … Had at least one punt of 50-plus yards in eight of 13 games and had 23 of 51 punts downed inside the 20-yd line.
2008 (SOPHOMORE): Named a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award, given to the nation’s top kicker … Named second team All-ACC as a kicker and punter … Also awarded Miami’s Jack Harding Award, given to the team’s most valuable player … Led Miami with 94 points, converting 18-of-20 field goals and 40-of-40 PATs … Ranked second in the ACC in scoring as a kicker, third in scoring overall and third in field goals … ACC’s second leading punter, averaging 40.3 yards per punt … In league games, led the ACC in punting (42.3 yards per punt) and ranked second in scoring with 61 points … Connected on a career-long 52-yard field goal against Wake Forest and added another 50-yard field at Florida … Had a career-long 76-yard punt at Duke – which was the fourth-longest punt in school history – and had nine punts of 50-plus yards … Made a career-best three field goals three times – versus Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Florida State … Two-time Lou Groza Award national star of the week after performances against Wake Forest and Virginia Tech … Named ACC Specialist of the Week after the Virginia Tech game … Also finished the regular season with eight total tackles on special teams … Rushed once on a fake punt against Florida State for 9-yard gain and first down.
2007 (FRESHMAN): Team’s punter for all 12 games and also handled the kickoff duties late in the season … Averaged 40.2 yards on 58 punts … Had nine kicks inside the 20 and 19 fair catches … Finished with a net average of 36.7 yards … Improved as the season progressed, with five of his six punts of 50 yards or more in the last four games … Kicked a 75-yarder at Virginia Tech, which was at the time the fourth-longest punt in school history … Punted in his first collegiate game against Marshall, kicking four times for a 26.8-yard average, with two inside the 20 … Punted a season-high 10 times for a 40.8-yard average at Oklahoma, recording a long of 51 yards … Punted four times for a 46.2-yard average (48 long), with one inside the 20 at Florida State … Punted five times for a 43.2-yard average and a 40.6 net average against NC State, setting a career best at the time with a 55-yard punt … Punted five times for a 42.0-yard average with two downed inside the 20 against Virginia … Had the best game of his career at Virginia Tech, punting six times for a 51.7-yard average … Had one touchback, booted a 57-yarder in the first quarter and a 75-yarder in the fourth quarter against the Hokies.
2006 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted as a true freshman.
