2001 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in six games as a reserve offensive lineman during Miami’s march to the 2001 national championship…earned BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors.


2000 (FRESHMAN): Played in two games (McNeese State and Boston College)… moved to tight end from the offensive line during spring practice… a BIG EAST All-Academic Team honoree.


1999 (REDSHIRT): A member of the Hurricanes’ scout team.


HIGH SCHOOL: Marathon… SuperPrep’s No. 31 player in Florida… started at offensive tackle, snapper and defensive end during senior season… started along the offensive line all four seasons… Ocala Star-Banner Top 100 Players of Florida… no. 5 offensive tackle on Florida Times-Union Super 75… No. 42 on Tampa Tribune Florida top 50…PrepStar All-American… Gridiron Greats selection… named to the All-State first-team… helped his team to an 8-2 record and a spot in the state playoffs during his senior season… Wendy’s Heisman nominee… Dean’s List and National Honor Society student… lettered in basketball… captained both football and basketball teams and was MVP of both as a senior… four-year starting center in basketball… coached by Steve McAnelly.
