As a sophomore in 2003-04 (Fall): Recorded an overall record of 4-4 in singles play, taking part in four tournaments…claimed two victories at the Miami Fall Classic, overtaking Florida Atlantic’s Mauricio Paiz 6-2, 6-0 and Central Florida’s Paul Ramy 6-3, 6-3…downed Florent Girod from Mississippi State 6-2, 6-2 and Ryan Sherry from Florida in three sets 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at the Gator Invitational…teamed with fellow Hurricane Tim Krebs to post an overall record of 8-4 in doubles play including an 8-5 win over the No. 15 duo of Paco Antelo and Renato Silveria from Southern Florida at the Gator Invitational…paired with Krebs to sweep the field at the Miami Fall Classic, winning three consecutive matches.

As a freshman in 2002-03: Turned out an overall record of 19-16 in singles play while playing in the second most matches (35) than any other player last season…proved to be a steady player at No. 4 for the Hurricanes with an overall record of 10-4…saw action at No. 3 (1-1) and No. 5 (1-3) as well during freshman season…earned his first dual victory as a Hurricane taking Florida Atlantic’s F.J. Schofield in three sets 2-6, 6-4, 6-3…won nine of his last ten regular season dual matches, downing opponents from American University, TCU, Georgia Southern, Wisconsin, Dartmouth, Notre Dame, Duke and Rutgers…in doubles play, teamed with Andrew Golub to finish a 13-18 overall record…along with Golub, finished undefeated at the No. 2 spot with a 5-0 record while posting an 8-6 record at No. 1

Prep: During freshman and sophomore seasons, team won state championship and earned No. 10 ranking in the nation among high school teams…individually ranked No. 12 in the nation among boys’ players 16 and under…ranked No. 27 in the country among players 18 and younger…competed in national championships in Kalamazoo, Mich…held No. 145 singles ranking and No. 182 doubles ranking in the International Tennis Federation…won Bush Florida Open B18 2002 singles competition.
