Chris Tomlinson is in his second year with the University of Miami Athletics Department, serving as a Customer Service Representative with the Hurricanes Ticket Office. His duties include handling season and individual home and away game ticket requests, game day ticket operations support and establishing relationships with Miami season ticket account holders to improve service and retention.
He is in his ninth year overall in ticket operations, previously working as the supervisor of ticket operations for IMG Miami during the 2009-10 season, interning in the Miami Heat’s ticket office (2008-09)and serving as a ticket representative at Sun Life Stadium (2003-08).
Over Tomlinson’s career he has worked many high-profile sporting events, including the FedEx Orange Bowl (2004-08), the Super Bowl (2007), World Baseball Classic (2008) and the 2005 and 2008 BCS National Championship Game.
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Tomlinson is a 2007 graduate of Johnson & Wales with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. He added a degree in sports entrepreneurial management from Nova Southeastern University in 2008.
