Was All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League and All-State selection as senior at Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J. … during his junior season, he averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game … was a 3-star recruit by Rivals, Scout and 247 Sports and ranked as the 51st shooting guard in the recruiting class … was classmates with current UM teammate Deng Gak while at Blair Academy and was one of four players from his class at Blair to sign with NCAA Division I teams (Zach Kent, Tennessee; Matt Turner, Santa Clara) … started on varsity program at Catholic Central High School in eighth grade and left as program’s leading scorer with 1,557 points before transferring to Blair … averaged 26 points per game during his final season in 2014-15 … played AAU basketball for South Jersey Jazz and was coached by former NBA player and ESPN analyst Tim Legler … played for Joe Mantengna at Blair Academy … also received offers from Villanova, Memphis, Georgia, Missouri and Saint Louis, among others.
