As a Junior in 2001-02: Golub worked his way back from an injury to compile a 10-14 overall singles record…he posted a 9-15 doubles record…highlights of last season include a match-clinching win over South Alabama’s Zlatko Stupavsky Jan. 27.

As a Sophomore in 2000-01: compiled a 17-13 singles record at the No. 5-6 spot and a 16-10 doubles record…transfer from Arizona State.

Prep: finished in eighth place at the National Clay Courts in Maryland…played in the Florida-Southern Challenge, which featured the top three players from Florida vs. the top three players from the Southern section…he played No. 1 all four years of his high school career and earned the individual district title and finished in second place at the state championship…was ranked No. 19 in the nation in Boys’ 18…finished No. 3 in the state and No. 17 nationally in Boys’ 16.

Personal: Born August 11, 1981…son of Josef and Jasmin Golub…has one brother Alex who played tennis at Florida State.
