2004-05: As a sophomore, swam the second-fastest time in the 100-yard butterfly and third fastest time in the 200-yard butterfly… finished second in the 100-yard butterfly against Florida Atlantic… placed second against Virginia in the 100-yard butterfly…placed 14th at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the 200-yard butterfly.

2003-04: As a freshman, posted the second-fastest time on the team in 2004 in the 500-freestyle and the 100 and 200-butterfly…finished with a time of 5:09.77 in the prelims of the 500-yard freestyle at the Minnesota Invitational…a BIG EAST qualifier in the 100 and 200-butterfly…finished with a time of 56.12 in the finals of the 100-butterfly and 2:04.28 in the finals of the 200-butterfly at the BIG EAST Championships…competed at the BIG EAST Championships in the 200-yard medley relay and 200, 400 and 800-yard freestyle relays, setting the top times on the team in each.

Prep: Led James River High to the Virginia State Championship senior and junior year…top times include a 2:17.30 in the 200 butterfly at the 2000 Junior Nationals (LCM) and a 2:02.70 at the 2002 Junior Nationals (SCM)…swam a 56.21 at the 2002 Virginia State Championships (SCM) in the 100 butterfly.

Personal: Chose Miami because of the academic programs, weather, and athletic facilities…favorite athlete is Misty Hyman.
