M. Tennis Drops Second ACC Match
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team (7-5, 0-2 ACC) fell, 4-0, to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11-2, 2-0 ACC) on Sunday afternoon.
Notre Dame secured the doubles point with wins over Nacho Serra Sanchez and Saud Alhogbani, 6-0, and Jules Garot and Rafael Segado, 6-2.
In singles, Alhogbani fell 4-6, 2-6 on court five, before Garot battled but lost on court six, 3-6, 6-7 (3). Serra Sanchez finished it off with a 5-7, 2-6 loss at the No. 2 spot.
The Hurricanes will return home to face Wake Forest and NC State to look for their first ACC win of the season.
