CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team (7-2) earned their fourth sweep of the season with a 4-0 win over the FGCU Eagles (1-8) on Saturday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

Antonio Prat and Jakub Kroslak teamed up for the first time this season to shutout Tanner Povey and Jonathan Baron, 6-0, at the top court. As court two and three battled to secure the point, Nacho Serra Sanchez and Saud Alhogbani finished the job at the No. 3 spot, 6-4, over Gustav Hasslegren and Mika Bunjes.

Singles went by quick, as Kroslak earned the court three win, 6-3, 6-3, over Pablo Paternostro to extend the lead. As Rafael Segado was up 6-4, 3-0, FGCU’s Stavros Hadjivarnava retired to give Miami another point.

To clinch, No. 100 Prat secured the 6-3, 6-4 win against Povey to close the non-conference season and keep the Hurricanes undefeated at home.

The Hurricanes will kick off ACC play at Louisville and face the Cardinals on Feb. 27.
