Miami to Face Florida in Jacksonville Hoops Showdown
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball renews its rivalry with the Florida Gators on Nov. 16 as the two teams are set to compete in the Jacksonville Hoops Showdown presented by the Jacksonville Sports Foundation, it was announced Friday.
The game will be played at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena with game time and broadcast designation being announced at a later date.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Sept. 24, and fans can register to receive dedicated event information and be eligible for ticket presale access on Sept. 23 by registering online at arena.jaxevents.com.
The contest will be the 72nd meeting between the two teams and the first matchup since 2019.
