
Women’s Basketball Recruiting Classes Garner National Recognition
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s basketball program and Head Coach Tricia Cullop have brought in a plethora of new talent this offseason, as they prepare for the 2025-26 campaign and the new talent has garnered national recognition as the Hurricanes were recognized as having one of the premier freshman recruiting classes and transfer recruiting classes in the nation.
Miami’s incoming freshman class, consisting of Soma Okolo, Danielle Osho, Meredith Tippner, Natalie Wetzel, and Camile Williams was tabbed as the 10th best recruiting class in the country by ESPN-W.
The transfer class, made up of Vittoria Blasigh, Amarachi Kimpson, Candace Kpetikou, Mya Kone, Ra Shaya Kyle, Jessica Peterson, and Gal Raviv was listed in ESPN-W’s top-15 transfer portal class rankings, as Cullop and the rest of her staff added significant pieces as they aim to compete in the ACC during the 2025-26 season.
