Swim/Dive Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Recognition

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The Miami Hurricanes swimming & diving team was among those recognized as a Scholar All-America Team, the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced this week.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester.

Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

“The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable,” said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. “It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements.”

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
