Miami Sits in Eighth at ACC Championship
WILMINGTON, N.C. – The University of Miami golf team sits in eighth place after the first round of the 2024 ACC Championship, shooting five-over-par (294) on day one at Porters Neck Country Club.
Sophomore Olivia Grønborg shot one-under-par (71) to lead the Hurricanes and sit tied for 17th among all golfers.
Senior Sara Byrne and freshman Rebekah Gardner shot a 73 and 74, respectively, while freshman Aada Rissanen tallied a three-over-par score of 75 to rank tied for 42nd.
Freshman Barbora Bujáková recorded Miami’s final score of the day with a 79 (+7) in the first round.
The Hurricanes will tee off in the second round of the 2024 ACC Championship on Friday beginning at 9:50 a.m.
