Canes Continue Season in Augusta

Coral Gables, Fla.- The University of Miami women’s golf team continues its season this weekend at the 17th annual Valspar Augusta Invitational. 

Hosted by Augusta University, the tournament will take place at the historic Forest Hills Golf Club on a par-72 that spans 7,140 yards. 

The tournament will consist of 54 holes over a two-day stretch, with 36 holes played on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday. Shotgun tee times are scheduled for 8:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, with continuous play lasting through the end of the second round. Action will then conclude on Sunday with a shotgun start time of 9:00 a.m.

Miami will take on a 15-team field that includes five top-25 programs – No. 9 Alabama, No. 14 Florida State, No. 25 Ole Miss, No. 4 South Carolina and No. 23 Virginia Tech. 

The weekend’s lineup includes Kristyna Frydlova, Anna Backman, Franziska Sliper, Sara Byrne and Nataliya Guesva.
