Golf Set to Open Play at Betsy Rawls Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla.  – The University of Miami golf team returns to action on Saturday when the team travels to Austin, Texas, to begin competition at the 46th Betsy Rawls Invitational. This year’s event will take place at the par 72, 6,353-yard University of Texas Golf Course.
 
The tournament will consist of 54 holes over a two-day stretch, with tee times set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET each day. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.
 
A quintet of Hurricanes, senior Renate Grimstad, junior Kristyna Frydlova, sophomore Anna Backman and freshmen Daniella Barrett and Franziska Sliper, will make the trip with Miami grouping up with student-athletes from Kent State and Denver.
