UM Athletics Announces Department Promotions

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami Athletics announced Friday several staff promotions across various departments, including academics, alumni programs, business, communications, compliance, event operations, fundraising, marketing, production, strength and conditioning, ticket sales and video services.
 
The Hurricanes promoted Dr. Chaunte O’Neil to Assistant AD, Academic Services; Camron Ghorbi to Assistant AD, Communications; Tim Brogdon to Assistant AD, Digital Strategy; Alfonso Restrepo to Assistant AD, Development; Rick Remmert to Associate AD, Alumni Programs; David Case to Associate AD, Internal Operations; Drew Thomas to Assistant AD, Production Services; and Drew Rossetti to Assistant AD, Video Services.
 
In addition, UM promoted Anthony Lestochi to Director of Production Services; Austin Sapin to Associate Director of Digital Strategy; Lindsey Bonner to Assistant Director, Business Operations; Ali Golden to Accountant; Caitlyn Francis to Associate Director, Compliance; Michael Cox and Iva Earley to Associate Director, Events and Operations; Brad Canfield to Manager, Production Services; Kyle Stopperan to Senior Designer, Animation; Michael Kwiatkowski to Senior Client Experience Specialist; Samuel Wind to Senior Account Executive; Michael Hebert to Athletics Video Producer; and Debbie Gentile to Executive Assistant.
 
O’Neil manages admissions, enrollment management and student-athlete progress reporting and is the academic advisor to the women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, volleyball and golf teams.
 
Ghorbi oversees communications efforts for the football and swimming and diving programs in addition to managing UM’s communications staff. Brogdon oversees UM’s digital channels for all sports, including overall strategy, content planning and distribution efforts.
 
Restrepo oversees operations, external communications/branding, and game day VIP hospitality for the Hurricane Club. He is also the lead fundraiser for the Building Women’s Champions Campaign and a member of the major gifts team.
 
Remmert oversees all of UM’s alumni programs, including outreach and event management. Case is entering his seventh year overseeing all of UM’s equipment operations. Thomas oversees UM’s broadcast productions and directs all ACCN and ACCNX broadcasts of Hurricanes home games. Rossetti is in his seventh season with UM football, where he oversees all video operations for the football staff.  
 
Lestochi serves as the department’s chief engineer for all broadcast operations. Sapin oversees digital efforts for UM men’s basketball and assists with football and other sports.
 
Bonner is now responsible for recording and reporting athletic department revenue, including ticket sales, corporate sponsorships and conference distributions. Additionally, she oversees ticket inventory audits, reporting department sales tax, and ensuring department PCI compliance. Golden manages accounts payable processes, reviewing contracts and agreements for the purchase of goods and services, and reporting on Hurricane Club donations.
 
Francis now oversees rules education for UM’s compliance office. Cox handles event management for baseball, volleyball and swimming and diving, while serving as the secondary event manager for football, men’s basketball, and track and field. Earley handles event management for women’s basketball, soccer, and men’s and women’s tennis.
 
Canfield serves as a producer in the broadcast department and assists in all productions for ACCN and ACCNX broadcasts. Stopperan handles all graphic animation requests for the department from in-game to digital media, in addition to assisting with graphic design for branding projects.
 
Kwiatkowski supervises all ticket office student workers, assists ticket operations with monthly reporting and helps coordinate the retention strategy for all season tickets. Wind is responsible for identifying new ways to generate revenue for the department, as well as internal supervision of all sales strategies on game days and special events.
 
Hebert works with UM’s soccer and track and field squads in addition to assisting in video production on gameday for football. Gentile oversees office communications for the Director of Athletics, coordinating scheduling and travel, as well as assisting with coordinating meetings with University administration and trustees.
