Swim / Dive Completes Day 3 in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The University of Miami swimming & diving team completed its third day of competition at the 2019 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships Friday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Led by freshman Zorry Mason’s performance in the 100-yard breaststroke, the Hurricanes continued their run at the conference championships and finished the day with 184.5 points.

Mason, who posted an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 1:01.70 in the morning’s preliminary round to earn a spot in the night’s ‘C’ final, took fifth in her second heat of the day.

Sophomore Chandler Sensibaugh just missed out on a finals trip with a time of 4:25.75 in the 400-yard IM, while sophomore Carmen San Nicolas posted a time of 1:49.21 in the 200-yard freestyle.

The 2019 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships continue Saturday from Greensboro.
