Noting Miami
Miami competed on the course at the UT Golf Club earlier this season on Oct. 9 and 10, taking eighth place in the Betsy Rawls Invitational with a 39-over 903 (293-293-317). UM’s Dewi Weber set the invitational’s course (64) and tournament (201) records at the 2016 event as she won her second career tournament.

Ranked 20th nationally, Weber leads the team with 71.85 stroke average this season, which currently is the lowest single-season stroke average in program history. Named to the All-ACC Team on Friday for the second straight year, Weber is the second golfer in program history to earn All-ACC honors in multiple seasons, joining Daniela Darquea, who earned the distinction three straight years from 2014-16.

Sophomore Renate Grimstad is ranked 65th nationally and owns a 73.3 stroke average this season. She shot a 69 (-3) in the second round at the Betsy Rawls Invitational in October, her second lowest score in any round this season.

Miami has won three of its six spring tournaments, capturing the Florida Challenge, UCF Challenge and Hurricane Invitational championships.
