Volleyball Cancels Trip to Philadelphia

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami volleyball team will not compete at the Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia Cherry & White Challenge this weekend.

Miami (6-0) was scheduled to play Delaware Friday at 3:30 p.m., and Temple Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Hurricanes will not travel to Philadelphia due to safety concerns related to Hurricane Irma, which is expected in the Florida area this week.

The Canes are scheduled to return to the court at the 2017 UM/FIU Invitational on Sept. 15-16, when they will host James Madison, Auburn and South Alabama.
