Miami Athletics Forms Client Experience Team
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami announced Wednesday the addition of a client experience team to the Hurricanes’ ticket sales department.
The unit led by director of client experience Dan Boyd will provide world-class customer service to the Hurricanes’ most important fan – the season ticket holder.
“I am looking forward to leading this department which will focus on building relationships and become the inside connection to all of our season ticket holders,” Boyd said.
Boyd joins the Hurricanes’ ticket sales staff following five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he served most recently as the manager of guest and member relations.
The team will be dedicated to building relationships with season ticket holders, while creating lifelong memories for fans by incorporating new benefits and customized experiences based on the season ticket holders’ needs.
“We view this department as a sign of our commitment to being leaders in the client experience business,” assistant athletics director for ticket sales Mackie Feierstein said. “I’m confident that Dan and his staff will play a key role in providing and creating value-added benefits for our season ticket holders.”
During the 2016 football season, Miami had 351,434 fans pass into the newly renovated Hard Rock Stadium – a figure that ranked 33rd in the nation. The Hurricanes averaged 58,572 fans per game this season – good for 27th in the nation.
Miami also experienced a strong year in ticket sales for men’s basketball as it sold out on a season ticket basis for the second straight year.
