HurricaneSports.com caught up with Miami’s current hardwood ProCanes. Here’s where you can find former Hurricanes in the NBA and overseas this season. 

 

James Jones: Cleveland Cavaliers
James Jones is in his 14th season in the NBA. He is now a three-time NBA champion, earning his latest championship with the Cavs last season. He is currently shooting over 50 percent from three this season and has played in nine games so far this year.

Sheldon McClellan: Washington Wizards & Delaware 87ers (D-League)
Sheldon McClellan went undrafted but has already started games for the Washington Wizards this year. On Dec. 6 he was assigned to the Delaware 87ers D-League team, where he is expected to get more practice and playing time. With the Wizards, he is averaging 11.1 minutes per game while averaging 4.6 points per game. He is knocking down shots at a 44.4 percent rate and hitting 85.7 percent at the line.  

Jimmy Graham: Seattle Seahawks
Jimmy Graham is now in his seventh NFL season and in his second with the Seattle Seahawks. Graham is averaging 13.8 yards per catch and has scored four touchdowns this season.

Erik Swoope: Indianapolis Colts
Erik Swoope has seen his first real action this year on the active roster for the Indianapolis Colts. Swoope has totaled eight receptions for 165 yards this year at the tight end position.

Trey McKinney Jones: Fort Wayne Mad Ants (D-League)
Trey McKinney Jones is the starting small forward for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Indiana Pacers D-League affiliate. He has played in six games so far this year averaging 14 points, 7.7 boards, and just under four assists.

Ivan Cruz Uceda: Cafes Candelas Breogan Lugo (Spain)
Cruz Uceda is a member of the Cafes Candelas Breogan Lugo basketball team in Spain. Cruz Uceda has played in all 11 games so far this season and is shooting 39.4 percent from downtown, while posting 11.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Guillermo Diaz: San Lorenzo de Almagra (Argentina)
Guillermo Diaz plays for San Lorenzo de Almagra in Argentina. Diaz left Miami in 2006 and this season is shooting an almost perfect 92 percent from the free throw line, while also averaging 11.5 points and 2.4 assists, as the starting 2 guard.

Julian Gamble: Telekom Baskets Bonn (Germany)
Julian Gamble is the starting center for the Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany. Gamble is averaging a team-leading 6.5 rebounds while also contributing 10.2 points and over a block per game.

Malcolm Grant: KK Tajfun Sentjur (Slovenia)
Malcolm Grant starts at the two guard for KK Tajfun Sentjur in Slovenia. His efficiency is off the charts as he is currently shooting 52.2 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from three, and 90 percent from the charity stripe.

Tonye Jekiri: Bandirma Kirmizi (Turkey)
Tonye Jekiri is starting at center in his first season for Bandirma Kirmizi in Turkey. Jekiri is leading his team in rebounding with 10 boards per game, and averaging a double-double adding 12.4 points per game.

Reggie Johnson: Mono Vampire Bangkok (Thailand)
Reggie Johnson plays for Mono Vampire Bangkok in Thailand. This is his first season for the team and he will start at center for the squad.

DeQuan Jones: Lille Metropole Basket (France)
DeQuan Jones is the starting small forward for lille Metropole Basket in France. He leads the team in scoring averaging 18.6 points per game and adding seven rebounds per contest.

Kenny Kadji: Trabzonspor Medical Park Basketbol (Turkey)
Kenny Kadji starts at power forward for Trabzonspor Medical Park Basketbol in Turkey. A major contributor, Kadji is averaging 13.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per while converting on 64.5 percent of his attempts.

Donnavan Kirk: Fukuoka Rizing (Japan)
Donnavan Kirk starts at power forward for Fukuoka Rizing in Japan. Kirk is scoring 10.3 points per game, averaging six rebounds and shooting a blazing and shooting a blazing 42.9 percent from three.

Shane Larkin: Saski Baskonia Vitoria (Spain)
Shane Larkin is the starting point guard for Saski Baskonia Vitoria in Spain. A true floor general, Larkin leads the squad with over six assists per game while also adding a team high 13.5 points per contest.

Angel Rodriguez: Cholet (France)
Angel Rodriguez is the starting point guard for Cholet, a French team. Rodriguez is tops on the team in scoring, dropping an average of 13.3 points per game. Rodriguez is shooting 43.8 percent from three and 92.6 percent from the free throw line.

Durand Scott: Enel Basket Brindisi (Italy)
Durand Scott starts for Enel Basket Brindisi in Italy at the small forward spot. Scott is second in scoring on the team averaging 17.5 points per game, and also leads the team in rebounding with 6.6 boards per game.
