@HurricanesGolf Stands in Eighth Place at the Bryan National Collegiate
BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The University of Miami women’s golf team fired a day-two score of 306 and is in eighth place after two rounds at the 2016 Bryan National Collegiate.
The 54-hole event is being held at the par 72, 6,386-yard Bryan Park Champion Course.
Freshman Luiza Altmann and junior Delfina Acosta lead the way for the Hurricanes as both are tied for 19th with two-round totals of 150. Altmann fired a second round score of 76, while Acosta posted a 77.
Senior Kailey Walsh and junior Daniela Darquea are tied for 35th, heading into the final round with two-day totals of 152. Walsh posted a second round score of 76 and Darquea posted a 77.
Florida State’s Matilda Castren leads all individuals with a two-day score of 142. Virginia owns the team lead with a tournament total of 584.
Final round action begins with a shotgun start Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.
