@HurricanesGolf Returns to Action This Weekend

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s golf team will get its final tune-up before the ACC Championship this weekend as it participates in the Bryan National Collegiate on Friday.
 
The 54-hole event will be held at the par 72, 6,386-yard Bryan Park Champion Course in Greensboro, N.C.

Dewi Weber
– Posted a career-best finish at the Wildcat Invitational as she tied for fourth.
 Holds a scoring average of 72.57.
– Has three top 10 finishes this season.
 
Luiza Altmann
– Holds a scoring average of 74.91.
– Finished Wildcat Invitational tied for 43rd.
– Was not on the team last fall.
 
Delfina Acosta
– Holds a scoring average of 75.28.
– Holds a season-low 66 in the second round of the Dick McGuire Invitational.
– Scored a three-round total of 241 at the Wildcat Invitational.
 
Kailey Walsh
– Holds a scoring average of 76.22.
– Finished the Wildcat Invitational with a three-round total of 233.
– One of three seniors on the team.
 
RECAPPING LAST WEEK
Miami concluded play at the 2016 Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday and placed fourth, following a final round score of 298.
 
The Hurricanes jumped one spot in the standings on the last day after they opened day two competition in fifth place.
 
The par 72, 6,492-yard, Sewailo Golf Club served as the tournament host for the 54-hole event.
 
Miami posted a three-round total of 883, which tied for its third-lowest tournament total on the year.
