CORAL GABLES, Fla. – With the first day of the 2015-16 academic campaign underway at the University of Miami, the department took one last look at the 2014-15 athletics campaign with the release of its annual report.

As a department, Miami had nine programs qualify for postseason play, 24 All-Americans, 36 Academic All-ACC honorees and 77 All-ACC student-athletes.

All 18 Miami Athletics programs scored at least 960 on the most recent NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) report, with five programs receiving Public APR Recognition Awards for the second-consecutive season.

In addition, Miami’s Graduation Success Rate of 92 percent is among the best in the country and at the end of the 2015 spring semester, Miami ended with a program GPA of 3.0.

The athletics department also continued to invest in its student-athletes with the opening of a new athletics training table, a state of art video scoreboard at basketball, a nutrition center in the Hecht and the addition of lights to our Greentree Practice Fields.
