Five Questions
Q: What has your time at Miami been like so far?
A: Miami has been awesome so far. School has been going great and the professors are really helpful. The weather has been amazing and the people, especially the volleyball girls, have been really helpful with my transition into the school.
Q: What has been your favorite part of being a Hurricane?
A: My favorite part about being a Hurricane is knowing that I am part of an elite school and athletic program, and being able to wear the “U” on my shirt is still surreal.
Q: Has anyone taken you under their wing, shown you around and helped with your transition to college? If so, who, and how have they helped you adjust?
A: The volleyball team has been very helpful. They’ve shown me around the school, helped me adjust to school, and have also given me helpful advice in volleyball.
Q: What has been the biggest adjustment for you since you arrived?
A: The biggest adjustment for me is knowing that I am far away from my family and friends.
Q: What are you most excited for about being in college?
A: I am most excited for the independence. I get to do more things on own, which I feel will help me most with my transition into the real world.

I committed to Miami over other schools because: Miami felt like home. The team, the coaches and the campus all seemed like a great environment to be a part of.
When I think of Miami volleyball, I think of: a successful and elite program that has achieved and will continue to achieve great things.
My favorite part of being a Hurricane student-athlete is: knowing that I am in a great program that
is not only supportive, but successful in all aspects as well.

Coral Gables is different from my hometown because: the weather is consistent and predictable.
The biggest adjustment from high school to college has been: the busier schedule.
When I committed to the University of Miami, I felt: accomplished and proud of myself.
I love volleyball because: volleyball is an intense sport that always gives me a rush when I step onto the court.
My favorite moment in my volleyball career was: winning my second state championship.
