Five Questions
Q: What has your time at Miami been like so far?
A: Really great! I’m glad I came for Summer 2 because I’ve already got a feel for campus when it’s not as busy. Also, I’m getting used to classes and how to juggle being a student-athlete and we get more time to get to know the team!
Q: What has been your favorite part of being a Hurricane?
A: So far, it has been awesome being on the UM campus and being a Hurricane! I can’t wait to actually wear a Miami jersey and represent this amazing school and community!
Q: Has anyone taken you under their wing, shown you around and helped with your transition to college? If so, who, and how have they helped you adjust?
A: I’d say most girls on the volleyball team have been so awesome about helping me get adjusted to the college environment. They understand that I am a freshman and don’t know anything so it’s been great with their help!
Q: What has been the biggest adjustment for you since you arrived?
A: The biggest adjustment definitely has been living on my own and being so far away from my family. I definitely am so happy with my decision to come here and branch out from home, but it has been hard! I love it here and can’t wait for many new experiences!
Q: What are you most excited for about being in college?
A: I’m most excited about the upcoming season for volleyball and playing on this team. Also, I can’t wait to meet many new amazing people and make awesome friends!

When I think of Miami volleyball, I think of: Super awesome girls who love this sport.
My favorite part of being a Hurricane student-athlete is: Playing for UM, being on an awesome team with amazing people, and meeting great, new people.
If I had to describe the team in one word it would be: Welcoming
Coral Gables is different from my hometown because: It is across the country!!
The biggest adjustment from high school to college has been: Independence
When I committed to the University of Miami, I felt: Ecstatic! I can’t believe I finally get the chance to play college volleyball!
I love volleyball because: It’s part of me. When I am playing I am constantly reminded why I play this sport. It’s for those jaw-dropping moments, hard work that pays off, and memories that last a lifetime. This sport is amazing.
My favorite moment in my volleyball career was: It’s hard to pinpoint one moment because since I have played for so long I have many amazing memories. I guess my favorite memories will always be when I get to play with my family. My entire family plays volleyball and throughout the year we find times to bring everyone out and play. It gets very competitive, but it’s so fun to share the sport I love with the people I love even more
