Canes on Track - Ep. 3 - Douglas Dourado
Canes on Track is a video series giving an in-depth look at the Miami track and field and cross country programs.
Hosted by senior Taneisha Cordell, Canes on Track will feature interviews with coaches and student-athletes, as well as a look behind-the-scenes of the @MiamiTrack program.
In the latest episode of Canes on Track, Cordell sits down with senior distance runner Douglas Dourado. The Sao Paolo, Brazil, native has been Miami’s top runner on the men’s side in 2014.
Dourado opened the 2014 cross country season with a win at the FAU Invitational. He has two other Top 10 finishes on the season, placing seventh at the USF Invitational and third at the Westminster Academy Invitational. Dourado was also Miami’s top male finisher at the Mountain Dew Invitational and the Paul Short Run.
