TMJ on D-League All-Rookie Team

Former University of Miami Hurricane Trey McKinney Jones has been named to the 2014 All-NBA Development League All-Rookie Third Team.

McKinney Jones averaged 15.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals for the 2014 D-League champion Ft. Wayne Mad Ants this season. He hit 46.5 percent of his shots from the field, 35.3 percent from three and 85.7 percent at the line.

McKinney Jones averaged 9.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game for the 2013 ACC Champion Miami Hurricanes. In his first year at Miami, he posted 7.0 points and 3.5 boards per outing. The native of Milwaukee, Wis., played for the Canes two seasons after transferring from UMKC following his sophomore season.
