CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s swimming anddiving team won nine of 12 events and defeated Notre Dame University140-80 in a dual match at the Whitten Student Union Pool on the CoralGables Campus.

Miami, which improves to3-0 in dual match competition thisseason, was led by senior Rhiannon Leier. Leier won both the 400individual medley (4:43.51) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.42), and wasamember of the first-place 200-meter relay (1:47.55).

The Hurricanes return toaction on Oct. 23 when they compete inthe Collegiate Aquatic Sports Championships in Fort Lauderdale. Miami’snext dual meet will be Oct. 31 against Boston College in Coral Gables.
