Game Notes – Miami at No. 15/17 Florida State
The Game
Riding a five-game winning streak, RV Miami will battle back-to-back nationally ranked opponents as the Canes face No. 15/17 Florida State on Saturday, Feb. 11 in Tallahassee, then return home to the BankUnited Center to face No. 5/5 North Carolina on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
The Series
Miami trails Florida State 28-38 in the all-time series and the Canes are looking to defeat the Seminoles for the first time since Jan. 21, 2009. UM is 1-10 against FSU since the 2005-06 season, but have only lost by 15 total points in the last four outings – a pair of losses were by six points, one by two points and one by a single point.

Head coach Jim Larranaga is in his 28th season as a head coach and first at Miami. He has a 484-341 overall record and holds a 457-315 record in D-I games. Coach L was also the head coach of D-II American International (27-26) for two years.
