Game Notes – Miami vs. UNF Get Acrobat Reader

The Game
Miami (2-0) faces the first of a pair of in-state opponents when the University of North Florida Ospreys (1-2) come to Coral Gables on Nov. 19 for the 7 p.m. matchup at the BankUnited Center. The Hurricanes then battle Florida Gulf Coast University on Nov. 22.

The Series
Miami leads the all-time series with UNF 2-0, last defeating the Ospreys 94-41 on Dec. 31, 2008 in Coral Gables. The Canes’ other victory was on Dec. 20, 2007, an 85-63 win, also at home.

The Broadcasts
The game will be carried live by WQAM Radio as well as Miami’s student radio, 90.5 WVUM.

The Coach
Miami: Head coach Jim Larranaga is entering his 28th season as a head coach and first at Miami. He has posted a 472-344 overall record and is currently No. 17 on the list of winningest active Division I head coaches with a 445-308 record in D-I games. Coach L was the head coach of D-II American International for two years.
