An exciting new era has arrived for the Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball team. Coach Jim Larranaga is poised to make the 2011-2012 season the most exciting one yet. Building off their trip to the NIT last season, the `Canes continue to improve from their post-season appearance led by three All-ACC performers. Be there from the beginning as an electrifying squad takes on all foes from the ACC and beyond protecting the home court in front of a loud and rowdy BankUnited Center crowd. The nationally-ranked Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team is gearing up for a successful 2011-2012 season with a strong and experienced roster of returners seeking another deep run into the NCAA Tournament. Coach Katie Meier, fresh from her ACC Coach of the Year honors leads a veteran team with two All-ACC players including the reigning ACC Player of the Year.
There are many exciting changes taking place for Miami women’s basketball this season. In addition to reserved seat floor seats where you can enjoy all the action up close and personal, a new reserved seat section is now available at mid-court. Every other seat in the arena will be general admission, so feel free to sit behind the Hurricanes’ bench and cheer your team on or sit behind the visiting team bench and make as much noise as you can.
