Canes Volleyball: Can U Dig It with Ali Becker

Coral Gables, Fla. – Senior middle blocker Ali Becker is profiled in this edition of Can U Dig It. The Katy, Texas native is 10th all-time at UMiami for career blocks. As a junior, Becker quickly established herself as a growing force in the middle for the Canes. Playing in all 32 matches for UM, she amassed a career season-high 20 matches in which she hit .500 or above. She led the team and finished tied for seventh-best in hitting percentage in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with a .332 clip. She followed that by leading the squad with 96 total blocks (0.86 per set). Off the court, she was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for academic excellence.
