The Miami Hurricanes men’s and women’s teams have started the year off strong. The University of Miami is pleased to announce dates for this season’s Employee Day Games presented by Verizon Wireless. Employee Day tickets are on sale now and are available to all full-time and part-time regular benefitted employees. Eligible employees will receive one (1) complimentary ticket and have the opportunity to purchase up to three (3) additional tickets for only $1 each

The men’s team is currently on a three-game winning streak and is coming off of a big victory over Ole Miss. Led by a strong core of young players like Durand Scott and Reggie Johnson, this year’s Miami squad is poised to make a strong run in the ACC conference. The UM men’s team Employee Day Game is Saturday, December 4 at 4 p.m. when they take on 2010 Final Four participant West Virginia.

The women’s team is on a five-game winning streak led by All-ACC guards Shenise Johnson and Riquna Williams and are sure to light up the scoreboard when they host the Women’s Employee Day Game versus Boston College in early ACC action on Sunday, January 16 at 1 p.m.

Wear your orange and green, and come out to support the hometown team. A large, vocal and enthusiastic crowd can help make the difference for the Hurricanes, so get your tickets now!

To order your Men’s Basketball Employee Day tickets, follow these steps:

1. Click here to access the UM Employee Day ticket website.
2. In the `Enter Offer code / Password’ box enter your C number [case sensitive, use a capital C and NO spaces]. Click “OK.”
3. An Arena map will appear on your screen. Select the section where you wish to look for seats. Available seats within that section will be shown in dark blue. Light colored seats are unavailable.
4. Choose the first seat you wish to add to your account and click the ” Select” button adjacent to “Free Ticket.” Repeat the process for each additional seat you would like by clicking the “Select” button adjacent to “$1 Ticket.” You may add up to three (3) additional $1 seats.
5. Click Checkout
6. Select “TicketFast Now” to print your tickets at home at your convenience.
7. Select the “No” option when asked whether or not you would like to insure your tickets.
8. Follow the online directions to create your account and check out.
9. Tickets will be e-mailed to you; check your e-mail inbox and print your tickets.
10. Bring your “Print at Home” tickets to the game.

To order your Women’s Basketball Employee Day tickets, follow these steps:

1. Click here to access the UM Employee Day ticket website.
2. In the Free Ticket drop-down menu, select one (1) for the number of free Employee Day tickets and enter your C number [case sensitive, use a capital C and NO spaces].
3. In the $1 Ticket drop-down menu, select the number of additional $1 tickets you would like [a maximum of three (3)] and enter your C number [case sensitive, use a capital C and NO spaces].
4. Select “TicketFast Now” to print your tickets at home at your convenience.
5. Follow the online directions to create your account and check out.
6. Tickets will be e-mailed to you; check your e-mail inbox and print your tickets.
7. Bring your “Print at Home” tickets to the game.

Ticket sales representatives will also be on UM campuses tomorrow offering Employee Day tickets. Please bring your ‘Cane Card to one of the following locations:

• Coral Gables campus: December 2 – Library Breezeway from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Miller School campus: December 2 – The Quad from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
